Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary, Broome
The Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary was founded in 2003 by Chiu Chi Wen. It is a spiritual hub for Broome; a place of sanctuary and serenity for meditation, chanting, healing and yoga classes.1
The Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary is well known for its three-metre-tall Buddha Guan Yin statue2, made entirely of crystal and housed in a pagoda surrounded by crystals with an adjacent wishing wall. A range of spiritual groups use the centre including Buddhists who hold teachings and meditations sessions, and make offerings and perform rituals before the Guan Yin Statue.3
